J Stern Designs is jumping over to WordPress!

Hey everyone,  I've been busy working on my new exciting new Website and Blog -- J Stern Designs is moving over to wordpress.

Let me take a minute to tell you about the fun new stuff I have over there... then you can go check it out for yourself!

First off, my husband and I redesigned the J Stern Designs Logo.

Then I picked out a new wordpress template...

On the home page you'll see my new logo and lots of other new fun.  First off, in the top tool bar, you'll find:

• About (me)
• My Blog
• A new fancy contact (me) page
• Patterns (the Ribbon Skirt will be added this weekend : )
• Workshops (Soon I will have both upcoming workshops--where I'm teaching, And a detailed list of all my exciting fit and design workshops!)
• Uncategorized (This is a cool button-- I can use it to group my blog posts together so you can find stuff easier!)

Below the tool bar, you'll find my featured project.  If you watch the image, it scrolls between all the posts included in the featured project.  Currently, I'm Featuring the Ribbon Skirt.  I've just posted Part 4 --How to Insert an Invisible Zipper in the Ribbon Skirt--Definitely check that out!  Plus, the cool thing is that if you missed any of the posts, you can easily find them on the home page!  

I invite you to check out my new blog at jsterndesigns.com.  And, please stay tuned for lots of new pattern fun.  I also plan on posting all the juicy details about the workshops I'm teaching around the country.... First on the list is American Sewing Guild, Wichita, Kansas where I'll be teaching my Jeans and Tee Fit Workshops on March 11th and 12th!   Happy Sewing everyone.
