I'm off to New Orleans for In[focus] ....

Hi everyone...

I really, really, really wanted to finish my skirt posts before this trip!   But it was a super busy week.  We had the Student fashion show at Sanford Brown College--Huge success... and very exciting.   Here's the only pic I took (while I was busy being "b camera girl"....     (Here is a really cool video of the event (thank you honey... )  But I have to wait for permission to post it.

So... this trip is a film making conference, In[focus]... with some of the finest wedding film makers around.  I know I'm not known for my wedding films, but my husband is ... (Cinematic Wedding Story) ...  But here's why you all should be excited too.... The first class I'm taking is "how to make killer highlight videos"...

I'm thinking all be able to make some "killer sewing videos" so I can blog via video  instead of relying on my marginal photographer skills!    We'll see.  .... Plus, you know there is a piano bar on every corner   (almost).  It should be a great time.     I know this isn't a super sewing post, but I think we'll all benefit in the future.   ....and I promise to get that skirt finished and posted as soon as I get back!
