Women's Tee and Shorts for Spring!

Good Morning..  I'm thinking about all you guys out there... especially RI sewer girls (and boys)  I hope everyone is safe and dry.   I had to cancel my class in RI due to the terrible flooding... Please let the sun come out!!

So, today I'm working on the final draft of the Women's sized Tee ...I'll have them ready for the Worcester Expo (thanks in advance to my super fast printer boys at Action Blueprint!) (If you live in the Manchester CT area, they are the BEST.)

I get lots of requests for Women's sized patterns... I thought the Tee would be a good place to start!  I've built-in a D-Cup starting point and a wider shoulder seam than the original.  I also contoured the neckline in the front and back so it won't gap away from the body.

Also,  shorts season (They were right on the cover of this month's Vogue.) is right around the corner.  I'm working with the Khaki Pants pattern to make some new samples ....for the fashion show at the Worcester Expo next weekend.  The great thing about making your own shorts is that you can customize the hem length to exactly where you want it.  Sometimes I'm in a Bermuda mood... other times I like short shorts... (but not too short)

Stay posted for a tutorial showing you how!

  1. I am very interested in trying your T pattern in a D cup size - waiting with abated breath, in fact!
