Going to NYC for a Fabric Buying Trip...and I'm shooting Video!!
Hi everyone (no, I didn't fall off a cliff!) I've been really busy -- I've been playing Florence Nightingale at the hospital, one of my very good friends and my mother-in-law were having some stuff going on (not to get into the gritty details)... Happily, they are both doing much better this week (Thank goodness).
Upcoming on jsterndesigns will be a tutorial on how to get the waistband of your jeans to sit right up where you want it too! I'll show you how to get the rise higher so they are comfortable for all of you out there who don't care for low rise jeans!
Today I'm off to NYC to buy fabric and such. More exciting though is that I'm bring my new camera with me and I'm going to try to shoot some video of the trip. This will be my first attempt at video without my husband behind the scenes.... keep your fingers crossed. If all goes well, I'll be posting it for all of you to see...

Hope all is well with your family!
ReplyDeleteThe trip sounds like fun and a video is a great idea.
I hope your family medical issues settle down soon - I know all too well how those go.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to go shopping in NYC!! I have visited NYC quite a few times, but not since I began sewing. Now I would want to see an entirely different area of the city!
Thank you for your concern... it means a lot to me. Happily, both are doing much better now.
