The Turtle Knit Top is Definitely a Go!
I couldn't wait any longer, I made a strong cup of coffee and decided to test the turtle (instead of going to bed)...And I'm glad I did! I think it came out pretty well for a quick draft and sew-together! But, I'm definitely going to add a kangaroo pocket to give the front a little more interest...
Here's what the turtleneck pattern piece looks like...Although, I ran out of fabric so the sewn-up version of the turtle is about 2 inches shorter than the paper. And, I'm a little @@**#()%#!! that I sewed it on right sides together with the neckline--When I flipped it down over the shoulders, the wrong side showed, serged edges and all. (yuck, I'll fix it.) (I think I needed stronger coffee!)
