The Turtle Knit Top is Definitely a Go!

I couldn't wait any longer, I made a strong cup of coffee and decided to test the turtle (instead of going to bed)...And I'm glad I did!  I think it came out pretty well for a quick draft and sew-together!  But, I'm definitely going to add a kangaroo pocket to give the front a little more interest...

Here's what the turtleneck pattern piece looks like...Although, I ran out of fabric so the sewn-up version of the turtle is about 2 inches shorter than the paper.  And, I'm a little @@**#()%#!!  that I sewed it on right sides together with the neckline--When I flipped it down over the shoulders, the wrong side showed, serged edges and all. (yuck, I'll fix it.) (I think I needed stronger coffee!)

I think the back looks good.   ...I'm going to whip this up into a limited edition Jsterndesign!  (It sewed together is 20 minutes!!) ...Stay posted!

  2. Amazing what can be accomplished with a strong cup of caffeine :)
It looks like it will be a very warm and comfortable top.
